Who we are

Vedant's GMB Automations ("we", "us") provides a chat assistant on WhatsApp and Telegram that lets you create and manage your Google Business Profile. Questions about this policy: vedant@gholap.co.in.

What we collect

  • Your WhatsApp number or Telegram chat id, and the messages you send to the assistant.
  • Where you are in a conversation (for example, which step of profile creation you are on).
  • The email address and name of the Google account you sign in with.
  • A Google OAuth refresh token that lets the assistant act on your behalf. It is encrypted at rest (AES-256).
  • Your Business Profile identifiers and names, and the data you ask us to read or change: business details, posts and photos, reviews and replies, booking links and insights.
  • The number of profiles you manage each month, for billing.

How we use it

Only to carry out the actions you request in chat and to bill per profile. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

Google user data

We request the business.manage, email and profile scopes. Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run the assistant:

  • Google (Business Profile APIs)
  • Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) and Telegram (messaging)
  • MongoDB Atlas (database hosting) and Microsoft Azure (servers)

On the Agency plan, the agency whose assistant you use can see the profiles it manages for you.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while you use the service. Email vedant@gholap.co.in to have it deleted; we do so within 30 days. You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Security

All traffic uses HTTPS. Google tokens are encrypted at rest, and access to production systems is limited to the people who operate the service.

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above.
